The heroes of the Empire City Garrison did it once again this past month. I’d like to send a shout out to all of those troopers who were able to get out and support the garrison’s events in July. I never get tired of expressing how happy and fortunate I feel to be a part of and close to so many great people.
The Empire City Garrison is fortunate to be in a region of the country, and world for that matter that has a lot of event opportunities. As you saw from what we did event wise in July, August isn’t going to let up.
The ECG will being giving more charity and community support all over our area once again in August. We’ll be making stops at the Intrepid museum and the Cradle of Aviation museum. We have some very cool sporting events coming up as well that will give us countless opportunities to bring smiles to children’s faces. We will be supporting the Hudson Valley Renegades and the New York Yankees fans on those team respective Star Wars themed nights/games.
To see your favorite bad guys and gals of the Star Wars universe, please check the Empire City Garrison website out for these and all of our other events and appearances:
Keep an eye out for our “Why We Troop “segment next week as you will get to meet one of our troopers once again and hear about their life here at legion. Of course the following week you will get some more info on our costuming in our “Behind the Bucket” write up and lastly the ECGs event recap of August.
The New York Imperial presence is shaking the eastern region of the US and we will try our best to continue to bring it to you through this blog. Thank you all for your continued support of the Empire city Garrison of the 501st legion.
Until next month…
Thank you and Hail to the Emperor!
